Start of the Last Spring Quarter
Wow... I have now been reduced to 2 posts per month. How pathetic is that? Compared to my past 4-5 posts per week, this is just sad. So to get back into the spirit of posting, I'll start off today with my return to school. And the very last of my Winter Quarters. One more quarter after this and it's Hasta La Vista UCSD!

To start off, this quarter, I happened to have all late classes. My earliest class starts at 1 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 5 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. No classes on Fridays. Oh happy day! On the dark side, I'm taking 3 Econ classes this quarter. Might as well just kill me off early. I barely survived one ECON class last quarter, and now I've got 3. I guess it's my fault for putting my ECON courses off until my final year. But yeah, out of these 3 ECON classes, I've got one practical course and two theoretical ones. Not sure which one I'm scared of more. I had my first theoretical ECON class today, Energy Economics, and I hate this class already. I've go homework Who gives homework due for ECON!? Well, some classes do, but I just hate those class. ALSO, this class gives pop quizzes on readings that we get every day. I'm hating this class already. The professor seems very much in love with his subject, but I'm not sure if he's one of those professors that only care about their research and not their classes, or if he's just overenthusiastic in teaching to the class. But he tries to be funny, and it's really not.
Other than that, I have nothing to say. He really didn't start on teaching yet, so I haven't formed much of an opinion on the subject yet, so I'll just leave it at that.
Tomorrow, I've got 6 hours straight of classes and I can't wait. Really. -.-" I've looked at my CAT125 syllabus and the subject seems pretty interesting. It's communication in digital environments and you know I'm all for digital. Not sure about digital communications though, since I suck at pretty much everything communication. And I know for sure this course is gonna include Facebook and Twitter and the like. But it's all on an academic basis, so I need not apply it to my everyday life. As for what can be said about the other two ECON classes is that I will not be looking forward to it. One is taught by the most feared ECON professor in our school and the other one is based off Stats, which I nearly failed in high school.

This is gonna be a tough quarter in terms of courses, but I'm glad that it's sort of relaxing in terms of time. That is, if you count 6 straight hours of classes relaxing. But yeah, I'll power through them. Not much different than high school. Anyways, I think this is a good starting point for resuming my journal entries. I don't have much to add, but I'm sure that as time goes by, my brain will start working and I'll be popping out better and deeper material.
